Sponsor a Chicken

Our chickens are a mix of Warrens and Columbian Blacktails. Both species are small, docile and lay lots of eggs which our visitors can collect. The chickens are free range but we have to protect them from foxes and other predators, so they are locked in at night-time. All our chickens stay with us for their whole life, even when they stop producing eggs.

Our Orchard Trust site is home to a variety of farm animals, and sponsoring a chicken can help us offer a space for everyone in the community to engage with these beautiful animals.

With an annual chicken sponsorship, you will receive:

• A beautiful colour card featuring a chicken
• A sponsorship certificate for your animal sponsorship
• Twice yearly updates about your chosen animal

You can regularly visit our smallholding in the Forest of Dean to meet, feed and pet your new animal buddy.
