Support Worker - RURADEAN

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers to support our clients in our Residential home in RURADEAN.

22.5 hours per week

We provide daily support within our homes for people with learning and/or physical disabilities. We welcome experience, but this is not essential as a full training package is provided, that includes The Care Certificate, along with the opportunity to progress to HSC Diploma 2 & 3 should you wish to progress your career.

Salary:

  • £10.05 – £10.23 per hour(6-month probation rate £10.00)
  • Premiums – enhancements paid for waking nights
  • £11.50 for a 7.5 hour bank holiday shift.

  • Long Service Awards (extra holiday for length of service)
  • DBS reimbursed (following probation)

Support Worker - RURADEAN (NIGHTS)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable NIGHT Support Workers to support our clients in our Residential home in RURADEAN.

20 hours per week (NIGHTS)

Team Leader (Maternity Cover) -LYDBROOK

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Team Leader to cover maternity to support our Service Users in our Residential Service in LYDBROOK.

Trainer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainer to join our friendly Training department.
Under the leadership of the Training Manager you will be responsible for the design and
delivery of a variety of care related training courses, both face to face and by webinar, and
reviewing learning programmes. Working as part of a small team you will make a significant
contribution to the Orchard Trust’s vision for the learning and development of all its staff.
The Training department is very busy and the ability to work flexibly, pick things up quickly and
take ownership of tasks is essential.
Working within the training team this busy and varied role will include:

  • Delivering a variety of training courses to adult learners at the Trust’s own training
    facilities, external locations, or by live streamed webinars to a professional and
    consistent standard.
  • Assisting in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Trust’s learning
    and development programmes in line with the department’s requirements.
  •  Assisting in the administrative running of the department using strong IT skills.
  • Supporting the Training manager to achieve departmental objectives
    Ideally you will:
  • Have a professional training qualification and can evidence recent practice
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.
  • Have an awareness of the specific requirements of students working within a
    Learning and Disabilities environment.
  • Be an excellent organiser with strong communication and digital skills – a team
    player.
  • Be an experienced trainer with the ability to support adult learners across a range of
    ability levels whilst demonstrating empathy, flexibility and resilience.
  • Be quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile.

This could be a full time or part time position (minimum 3 days per week) and we are willing
to consider both options for the right candidate.
Closing Date – 31st July 2022

Salary:

  • £24,000 to £26,000 depending on skills

Bank Support Worker(s)

Required at all services.  £10.00 per hour, in addition you will receive a payment of £1.21 per hour (equivalent to 12.07% of your hourly rate) as payment for holiday under the Working Time Regulations 1998.
