A work based pension is a way of saving for your retirement that’s arranged by the employer.  Orchard Trust provides a work based pension with Now Pensions.  Once you meet the criteria the Trust will contribute a percentage of your salary and your contribution will be added directly into the pension scheme automatically every payday.

Cash Back Health Care

Following successful probation you will be enrolled onto the Health Care Scheme provided by Westfield Health.  This enables staff to claim cash back for many services such as routine dental and optical treatment, therapy treatments, chiropody and much more.

Group Life Assurance

When life is going well it is easy not to think about more difficult times.  Group Life Assurance provides peace of mind and a tax-free lump sum for an employee’s loved ones in the event of an untimely death.


We try to pay the most competitive rates for our sector and regularly monitor local market information to help us be as competitive as we can.


Along with a basic salary you may also be entitled to waking night enhancement of £29 per night, and £11.50 for a 7.5 hour bank holiday shift.  you will also receive the equivalent of the minimum wage per hour for sleep in duties.

Long Service Awards

The Orchard Trust values the loyalty and experience of staff who have worked for the Trust for a long period of time.  Awards are given for 10, 15 and 20 years service.

Whether you are new to care or have years of experience we will provide you with a full training package to ensure you are competent and confident to meet your needs and those of the people you care for.  The Orchard Trust believes that the development of staff skills, knowledge and competence through supervision, support and training is essential to enable us to meet the needs and wishes of the people who live at our homes.
