Learning and Development Co-ordinator

37.5hpw Monday – Friday - Ideally starting at 8.30am

Rate of pay: £8.50 – £10.50 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Learning and Development Department based at Lower Lydbrook in the beautiful Forest of Dean.

Key tasks for this role include:

  • Providing administration support to the Learning and Development Team - including the management of training software, phone and email contact with customers training diaries, booking trainers and training venues
  • Effectively overseeing course attendees’ bookings from initial point of contact to completion of the course, with follow ups as necessary
  • Accurately recording all training and skill records for internal staff and external customers and provide management reports using bespoke digital software
  • Proactively contacting home managers in regard to their staff’s identified training needs and booking courses as necessary
  • Update and maintain accuracy of training related web site content and social media 
  • Co-ordinating the Trust’s e-learning programme for new and established staff
  • Maintaining confidentiality in line with policies and procedures of the Orchard Trust
  • Representing the department at the monthly staff Communications Group meetings

Is this you?

Do you have:

  • Excellent IT skills and be able to proficiently use a selection of databases
  • An awareness of the specific requirements of staff working within a learning and disability environment
  • A good working knowledge of social media and websites
  • Excellent organisation and strong communication skills
  • Recognition of the importance of team working in order to reach a common goal
  • An awareness of other’s needs, feelings and concerns and keeping these at the forefront of all decision making
  • Understand the need for utmost confidentiality in all work undertaken

We currently have a vacancy for Cook/Support Worker at Offa’s Dyke.

37.5 hours, working 11-6.30 week days.

Support Worker - Lydbrook

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to support our service users in our Residential home in Lydbrook.

Full and Part time positions available

Along with a basic salary from £7.83ph you will also be entitled to a Cashback Healthcare Scheme, Life Assurance and a workplace pension.

Your role will be varied and will include supporting people to access the community for social outings, shopping, swimming, special events etc, and also in house activities. You will also support people to health related appointments; provide personal care and much much more.

Night Bank Support Worker - required at Sevenoaks in Coleford.  £7832 per hour, in addition you will receive a payment of 95p per hour (equivalent to 12.07% of your hourly rate) as payment for holiday under the Working Time Regulations 1998.
