Stowfield Sensory Garden

The Sensory garden at the Stowfield site need some restoration work to it's wooden structures and new planting.

We would like to set up a new volunteer group to take care of the garden and hope to be able to get a small shed and suitable tools for them to use.

You can visit our MyDonate page for details of how to donate to this project and others within the Trust, or text ORCH11£3 to 70070.  We will keep progress updates of the project here and on our Facebook page

UPDATE: Following a very generous donation of £2000 received for the garden through or BTMyDonate page we have ordered a kinetic wind sculpture, a solar powered water pump to get the central water feature working again and a separate solar powered bird bath fountain for the garden along with some very exciting interactive outdoor panels. The garden is looking lovely at the moment thanks to a lot of hard work by Jan our wonderful volunteer up there and the new features will add to the garden and make it a more rounded experience for all the people who use it

  • Residents from a local care home visited the Orchard Trust activity park and smallholding site.  They tried out the park equipment and met some of the animals.  It is fantastic to see a range of people using the activity park and getting so much out of it.  We welcome anyone to come and visit the site and use the equipment, we just ask that you please call Phill or George on 01594 861359 to let them know you are coming.
