Last week staff from Lloyds Banking Group once again used their volunteering day to help at the Orchard Trust residential and short break home in Ruardean.

Staff from Lloyds visited the home last year to clean the patio area, paint fences and prepare the garden furniture.  This year the group came to tidy the garden at 'Hilltop' to help make the outdoor space a pleasant and stimulating environment for the people who live and stay at the home.

Jill Malsom the manager of Hilltop said 'Our many thanks go to the volunteers from Lloyds bank who worked so hard in extreme heat conditions to clear out weeds from our tired garden, your hard work is very much appreciated by staff and residents'.

  • Residents from a local care home visited the Orchard Trust activity park and smallholding site.  They tried out the park equipment and met some of the animals.  It is fantastic to see a range of people using the activity park and getting so much out of it.  We welcome anyone to come and visit the site and use the equipment, we just ask that you please call Phill or George on 01594 861359 to let them know you are coming.
